This medallion style wall hanging is really suitable for any time of year. The design is made up of birds, hearts, tulips and corner triangles of heart baskets. Names could be added to the center block to add a personalized touch. The quilt measures 30" square, and is appliqued.

|
In this little quilt Sunbonnet Sue and friend with an Amish twist. They are seated getting ready to enjoy a Thanksgiving turkey. Their hands posed in prayer. The border is hearts and tulips set on black, giving the feel of the dramatic colors of the Amish quilts. The quilt measures 22" x 26", is appliqued and has pieced and appliqued corner squares.

This design was created, with some inspiration from the Hawaiian quilts. The open work tree in the center of the design has small hearts dangling. The delicate heart and holly border frame the central design. The quilt measures 26" x 29", and is appliqued.
